was fifty cent in boston friday?

is it possible for someone to get shot and for it to not be on the news or in the paper? last friday, me, barnesanova, and the man we call coop were sitting at a red light, right outside the downtown headquarters of the company i work for (not my office, but i was using the garage to park), and i'm pretty sure we heard three gunshots. the people on the silver line sure as hell thought so too, as they all took cover. i thought about taking off, but i would have gotten seriously t boned. as soon as the light turned green i did my best "the guy who played pedro cerrano driving during the gun scene in heat" impression and got the hell away. we didn't see anything on the news or in the paper though, so i guess my question is, how did that ..... happen?
